Are Implementation Services for me?
Implementation is the primary delivery backbone of a project – where a system is deployed, set up, made ready for testing, training, and finally, commissioned.
What’s involved?
Implementation stages vary from project to project, but typically they include:
- Installation – whether on your premises or in a hosted environment
- Configuration – the setting up of the system to your specific requirements
- UAT Set Up – getting you ready to do your Acceptance Testing (dry-running your processes to check everything has been covered and resolving any faults)
- Pilot – proving that you can run your processes on the system
- Go Live – commissioning the system into live use
This is an example of a typical project layout, however depending on the project an extensive list of project stages can be layered in. Other disciplines are addressed separately – for example, Development, Data Migration and Training.
How will it help my business?
Implementation is the core sequence of a project once the analysis stages are concluded. It is therefore fundamental to the progress of a project and its successful conclusion.
